Below, you will find a list of our wedding repertoire for string duo (violin plus cello). Most of these pieces originated as compositions for quartet or larger ensemble. While these arrangements are totally playable by just two people, they are mainly providing the bare bones of musical structure: melody (violin), and bassline (cello). For an idea of a richer sound (including the inner lines/harmonies provided by the second violin and viola), please listen to our samples on the quartet repertoire pages. The duet can be a lovely choice for intimate venues, or for those planning their wedding or special event on a smaller budget.
